Master of Science in Nursing Program

The MS program consists of two concentrations: Nursing and Health Care Education and Global Public Health. Both concentrations provide students with the foundational knowledge of healthcare systems, healthcare policy, nursing research methods, and healthcare informatics.

Doctor of Nursing Practice

The DNP program (BS-DNP and Post-Masters-DNP Plan) prepares Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioners (AGPCNPs) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs). Nurses with a master’s degree in nursing and who are already certified as advanced practice nurses enter the Post-master’s track to obtain their DNP degree. Learn more.

 

Post-Masters Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS)

The Post-Masters Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) program is offered online program with two tracks: the AGPCNP and the PMHNP.  Learn more about AGPCNP CAGS and PMHNP CAGS.

 

PhD in Nursing

The PhD in Nursing is a research-focused degree. There is substantive content and experiential learning in three areas:

      • the conducting of research
      • scholarship on chronic illness
      • scholarship and leadership in nursing education or global public health
